How to convert a custom text field to URL for existing leads/contacts?
I created some custom text fields for leads and contacts like "XING" (european business network) and "Secondary Website" to put in URLs, but did not see the URL field type. Now I want to convert the text fields to URL fields. How is this possible?

Workflow Alert limitation on additional recipients
I need to send an Contact email through automation/alerts. There is a limitation with the additional recipients to only 10 emails separated by "," (I think). Any thoughts at being able to send emails to a Group or listing of Emails? Vendors' emails? Hows about Accounts and all the emails of the contacts associated to the Account....could work? Am I missing doing this somewhere easier?

Hi, We would like to split out leads so that they can be treated differently. The ideal is to have a second tab for leads which are sub £1000 and use the main leads tab for anything £1000+ Is this possible?

How can I enable chatting functionality?
We are using the Professional Edition of CRM. In the post below : https://www.zoho.com/crm/help/miscellaneous/chatting-with-users.html#Activate_Chat_for_Users it says that we can activate Chatting functionality inside the system via Setup/Users/Profile screen. Whereas I cannot see a checkbox to enable that functionality. I've checked the license details and saw that group chatting is included in our license. How can I enable chatting for my users? Saving report
Hi. I have just started using a macbook, having previously used a windows laptop. I have downloaded excel 2011 for mac but when I try to export reports, excel cannot find the file that I previously used as the saved report from zoho. When I used my old laptop, I got a message at the bottom of the screen giving the option to save as but this doesn't happen with the mac for some reason. So it simply puts the file in the download folder. I then have to save it, i presume, as the same name I gave it
Export problems with comma delimited fields
Hi! i have recently done a data backup, but the result is frustrating: i have texts in some fields, and a lots of commas, and after export - which is in a CSV file - all this information goes to separate cells in Excel creating a mess. there was someone on the forum who advised to use reports and export the data into Excel, but it is not working when you do a backup. Could anyone, please, give me advice on how to solve this problem?
Searching/Filtering by Last Call or Email
How can I search and/or filter my contacts by last call made or email sent? I have tried by Last Activity Time; that doesn't seem to grab either piece of data. I cannot find a report to help either. Thanks!
Invoicing in CRM
Hello, I would greatly appreciate a quick response to this question. We are trying to use the Invoice / Sales Order features in Zoho CRM, but it is clunky and time consuming. Why are we not able to just key the product code directly into the Product Name (on the first screen after selecting Sales Order or Invoice). Why do we have to go to an additional screen, then enter the product code (or name), and then click to confirm it is that product. This is just a waste of time. I can't convince my colleagues
Permission Denied
I have recently started using Zoho CRM and have no issues when using it on my laptop. However if I try adding a contact or event etc via my ipad or iphone it repeatedly says permission denied. It used to work ok and setting should be right as it works ok on the laptop. Any ideas?

Wrong character encoding during data export
Hi, I just found a big problem during data export! When I exported my data, all Chinese turned into wrong or strange txt or symbols!!! When I import data, I can have advance option on the character encoding but It don't seems to have a way for data export.

From: address when sending mail from CRM is not default email
I have two emails in zoho account. I set the one I wanted as the default but it continued to show the other email when creating a new email in CRM. I just deleted the other one and now it shows. I have 5 other users and growing and now I am off to do this for each account.

When entering/editing product... under "Price Information" heading we have "Commission Rate" field [there is an empty space under it]... Why don't you change "Commission Rate" field from a number to percentage so we could input 10% or 8% and have the commission calculated automatically based on the "Unit Price"... all you would need to do is add a new field "Commission" below the "Commission Rate"... Is there a way to have a Contact linked to 2 different Accounts? This is a very normal situation, but I don't see how I can enter this into Zoho. Any help, advise would be appreciated
Has anyone lost Data?
I have lost about 60 jobs from my zoho. When I signed on one day and all of my agencies were gone. I was able to look in the recycle bin, and find that they were dlt from my zoho by me at like 1am. When I got the data back it was in my CRM 2 times and still missing about 60 of the jobs. Do any of you know what happen and how i can find what i am missing.

Vendors Question
I see that I can add Vendors to my CRM account. I see that Vendors can include people who I use as contractors. If I add my contractors to my CRM, do my end customers ever see those contractors, their names, addreses, phone numbers, etc? On invoices or any other communication they receive on their end from us through Zoho? In other words, if I have someone doing work for me as an employee, however, they are a business that I mearly outsource some particual work to, do I have to worry about my customers
Mobile Field Display Issue
Hi tech, I've having an issue with my contact field display using iphone app. 1. I changed the fields that i want to be displayed and filled with my contact and lead. 2. My web Zoho CRM displays exactly what I expected, but my iphone still shows the fields that I have removed, and not updated the fields I added on. Is there anyway that I can solve this issue since it's really important for me to view contact detail with my own defined fields. Much thanks to you.

Zoho CRM at Go Daddy Secure Certification Authority
i just noticed that one of my web-to-lead-forms isn't transmitting the leads back to my zoho crm account. but i used the exact web-to-lead form at my other website and it worked fine. the only difference is that the one not working was a Go Daddy Secure Certification Authority website. is it because of that so the leads aren't being transmitted back?? sorry new to the field, would appreciate if someone can help. thanks

Web To Lead Form problem
Hi i have gone through these forums looking for an answer to my problem but none of them have worked. I had a perfectly working web to lead form working about 3 weeks ago. I wasn't getting leads for a while so I tested it and on submit I am getting a blank page on submit with https://crm.zoho.com/crm/WebToLeadForm in the URL field. There is an s in my Https and my domain name in the form points to the exact path of the form page (as this was suggested in an other soution thread. Purchase orders pricing
Hi. Our purchase order units and our quoting and invoicing units differ, therefore we cannot create purchase orders for our vendors based on our current product pricing. If we can simply show a product, description and quantity in the purchase order without the pricing, this will work fine for us. Is there a way to remove or edit the current product/pricing part of the purchase order? We're now forced to do purchase orders completely separate from the CRM, and it would be great if we can also incorporate

Hi I wondered if there was a quick way to go from an email that's come in from a contact direct to the contact's profile. The only way I seem to be able to do this is to type their name into the search box. Is there some sort of 'view contact' bit that I'm missing? Sue

Hello; I've created a rule for sending an e-mail automatically as soon as I create a contact. The rule is working, but I am no able to send this e-mail to the contact e-mail. The e-mail address I want to send automatically is the one I am showing in the picture 01, but it is no one from the list given in alerts option, showed in picture 02. Is there any way to do that? I am having an issue getting notes to save. Out of every 5 I try I only get one to actually save in the notes section. I am not sure why this would happen? I have used Zoho in both Chrome and Firefox with the same results. Any assistance would be helpful. Joanne Meurer
