Request Creation via Zoho (are emails automatically sent?)
Hi, I'm trying to verify what happens for certain when I create a request manually within the Zoho Support Console. If I add a contact name and email, I want to be sure the ticket is created but NOT that the contact on file is sent the ticket (in the case of a phone request). Once the ticket is created and in the queue, of course we like the ability to reply. I tried to figure this out by looking at Email templates but I am not 100% convinced. I also tested it but want to be sure that just creating
Zoho Support website doesn't work on Android tablet
The Zoho support doesn't fully work on the Android tablet. When I open a browser, like Chrome, and start adding comments to an Issue, it backs me out to the Home screen. I can't add commments using my tablet. Also, can you get rid of the Flash features. This is obsolete technology and doesn't work on iPads or Android tablets.

Good night! =) Whenever we open a topic here to start a discussion, report a problem etc, Zoho gives us a series of other topics that might be related to what we're communicating. However, when we try to open one of the suggestions, the screen that shows up is the one below Can u fix it, please? By the way, I couldn't find a Forum of "Zoho Forum" or sth..... Utilize Email Notifications
Hi there, I was wondering if it is possible to have email notifications added when say, an internal comment is added to a support ticket. I'd like the ticket owner to receive an email when the support ticket is updated. Much appreciated! Thomas

Is it possible to have a customer access the customer portal and provide shipping address and phone number and have that information automatically added to the customer contact in Zoho support?

I liked zoho sites because i like the way one can make a site , but i had 2 problems and i dont want have more problems . The published site is innacesible and deleted few time ago one create and nobody solve this big problem and after what can do ? create other site on a responsable server bcz one cant have a site on a place that dont works only 404 errors and error publishing site , contact support and suppor dont do nothing .. what a shame.another site lost .
Can you use ZOHO Support addrecords API within a Java rather than in form post?
Additional detail: We would like to use the 4 ZOHO SUPPORT API's using a Java function (Web Service) and I'm curios if you have a template or a sample code that I can review and get familiar with. Most of the samples I see in the web are ZOHO CRM and I'm wondering if ZOHO Support has one. It would be great to use libraries from ZOHO Support to make the coding simple and fast. Email Notification for new requests
I'd like to be able to be notified when a new request is submitted. I currently have all of the Email notification boxes checked and I get emails once the request has been assigned. However, I need to get an email when a new request has been submitted so that I know to go to the portal and assign it to someone. Is there a setting for this that I'm missing?
Company Name on request form?
Is there a way to include a company name field on the support request form? We need to know who the person requesting help is working for. [Edit] I should mention that we are trying to use this system for several companies who we provide service for. I suppose most use it for internal company support.

Hi, is it possible to save my custom reports in Zoho. I can create a custom report but i don't know how to save it. Gaining back control of our zoho support portal
Dear Team We had set up an account for Zoho support where I was set as main admin, But recently some ex-employees who had admin access have remved our access to support portal, now wecannot zoho support portal. These Ex-employees had left but unfortunatelt their accounts were not deactivated onsame day thats why this incident happened. Spanish translation when drafting a response
When I click the button to draft an email response, Zoho Support takes the text of the previous email and places into the draft. How to monitor and collect logs affecting the wan interface from cisco router.
Hello Support, I am using Eventlog Aanlyzer free edition. I have configure my cisco routers to send syslog to the Analyzer, but only my tunnel interfaces for the respective routers automaticlly shows up the analyzer and all the logs reported relates to the interface. I would like to collect logs/events affecting the wan interfaces of the respective routers only. Example when any location losses connection with the my telco I wouls like the router to sent this log that affects the wan interface
24 hour clock format in email templates
Is there a way to set the clock to display the time using the 24 hour clock format in the email templates. For example in the email template the field ${Cases.Created Time} displays as '15/11/2013 02:05 PM' but I need it to show as '15/11/2013 14:05'. Thanks.

Cannot create an issue ticket to Zoho
Hello, We have been unable to send responses via our support portal for the past day. When we checked the Setup>Channels>Email page, an error shows up noting 'Unable to process your request'. This occurs on multiple browsers. While logged into the support rep section of our support portal (https://help.papertracer.com), if I select my user account on the top right (jaldrich@hami.com), click on 'support', and fill out a request, the popup window navigates to a blank white page. This has happened before

Why are non-existent Zoho Account users still visible in request filter?
Hi Have just signed for Zoho Support after a trial period. During that trial we set up a user who is no longer with us. I have deactivated the "Support Rep" user, and also deleted the full Zoho account. There are no tickets associated with that user. I have signed out and back in again using various standard and admin users. The problem is that the user is still available to be selected on the Requests Tab/Filter By/Support Rep option. How can I remove this please? thanks Andrew

Hi I set-up 2 departments during our trial - Sales and Support. We now want only one department so I tried to remove one (Sales). Problem is that after following these instructions from your help pages... To disable a department, follow the steps given below: Click Setup In the Organization section, click Departments Click on the department that you want to disable Click Disable Click Transfer and Disable ...the page is totally blank (see both attachments for a clearer explanation). Custom View finding zero results
Currently in trial period for zoho support (helpdesk product). I have two email addresses forwarding into one sales dept. I expected to be able to filter by the email address the request was originally sent to. When I view a request sent to the email address I want to filter on, the request clearly shows that it was in fact sent to the email address I want to filter on. POP refresh interval
I have setup up a POP account for our support address and its all working fine at the moment but I've seen Requests take 30 minutes to be created. I can't find where the refresh interval can be configured. 30 minutes is too long. Is there a way to configure this interval?

understanding Zoho Support API limits
We are using Professional Edition and have 25 active licenses. We have written some code that inserts requests into Zoho Support using the XML API https://www.zoho.com/support/help/add-records.html. The code works fine. It uses a single authtoken, generated by the admin user. We reviewed the API limits on this page https://www.zoho.com/support/help/api-guide.html#API_Limit ; it says that Professional Edition has a limit of Minimum - 250 Requests / day / User licence, Maximum - 5000 Requests / day

Customer needs to integrate Captcha functionality to the Web Form capability. This customer is highly visible in our country, so they feel their form could be subject to attack and therefore should be better protected. Not only for Zoho's protection, but also for themselves since the Return URL also links back to them... customer portal tabs
I know you can customize the colors of the customer portal but can you actually modify the names of the tabs on the customer portal? We'd love to rename the tab "My Solutions" to either FAQs or Knowledge Base.
Alert the assigned rep when a request they are assigned to gets a reply/update.
Is it possible to make it so that when a request gets updated or replied to by a customer, whoever the assigned support rep is from our team will get notified? I don't want all of our reps to get notified every time any request gets replied to (I know how to set that up), only the ones they are assigned to. I've looked but didn't see an option to make an alert to "notify assigned support rep." Thanks!
Why does the invitation of the customer portal come in the Outlook(hotmail) spam folder?
