Email Blocklist allows you to restrict specific email addresses or domains from booking appointments across your business. This helps prevent unwanted or fraudulent bookings caused by spam, fake, repeated invalid bookings, or malicious sources. You can use this feature to decide who can schedule appointments through your booking pages and ensure that only valid customers can complete bookings.
How email blocklist works
You add specific email addresses or entire domains to the blocklist to restrict appointment bookings. For example, blocking alex@example.com prevents bookings only from that email address, while blocking example.com restricts bookings from all email addresses under that domain.
During an appointment booking, the entered email address is checked against the configured blocklist. If the email address or its domain matches a blocked entry, the appointment will not be scheduled.
With Email Blocklist, you can:
Manage restrictions across all event types: Apply blocked emails and domains centrally across your business.
Configure a block message : Display a custom message on the booking page when a blocked user attempts to schedule an appointment.
Add internal notes : Include reference notes for blocklist to help users identify the reason for blocking.
Block type | What it blocks | Example |
Block by email | Restricts bookings from a specific email address | zylker@example.com |
Block by domain | Restricts bookings from all email addresses under a domain | example.com |
