Add additional availability and unavailability in mobile

Mobile app allows users to add extra availability or block time outside their regular working hours directly from their mobile device. Admins can make changes to business hours, while other users can make quick changes to their own working hours without accessing the web app. This feature helps users keep their availability accurate and up to date on the go.

Who can access this feature?

Available on

All plans

Super admin and admins

Can add additional availability and unavailability for all users, resources, and business

Workspace admins and managers

Can set this for users of their assigned workspaces

Staff

Can set this only for their own profile


1. Steps to add additional availability 

  1. Open the Zoho Bookings mobile app.
  2. From the home page, tap the add icon  at the bottom.
  3. Tap Additional Availability.
  4. On the next screen, three tabs will be shown: Business, User, and Resource. You can choose the appropriate tab and click Add. This will open the Add Additional availability
    screen.
  5. Choose one of the following options from the dropdown in the pop-up.
    1. Date range – Select this option to override availability for a continuous range of dates. For example, June 10–15.
    2. Specific dates – Select this option to override availability for individual dates. For example, June 10, June 15, and June 20. Enable the All day checkbox to apply the override for the entire day.
    3. Custom range – Select this option to override availability for a continuous range of dates by defining one or more time slots for each day. For example, June 10–15, from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM each day. Enable the All day checkbox to apply the override for the entire day.
  6. Enter a reason for adding the additional availability (optional) and click Apply.


    The additional availability will be added for the selected dates and time slots, making them available for bookings during the specified period.


2. Steps to add unavailability

  1. Open the Zoho Bookings mobile app.
  2. From the home page, tap the add icon  at the bottom.

  3. Tap Unavailability.

  4. On the next screen, three tabs will be shown: Business, User, and Resource. You can choose the appropriate tab and click Add. This will open the Add Unavailability screen.
  5. Choose one of the following options from the dropdown in the pop-up.
    1. Date range – Select this option to add unavailability for a continuous range of dates. For example, June 10–15.
    2. Specific dates – Select this option to add unavailability for individual dates. For example, June 10, June 15, and June 20. Enable the All day checkbox to apply the override for the entire day.
    3. Custom range – Select this option to add unavailability for a continuous range of dates by defining one or more time slots for each day. For example, June 10–15, from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM each day. Enable the All day checkbox to apply the override for the entire day.

  6. Enter a reason for adding the unavailability (optional) and click Apply.


    The unavailability will be added for the selected dates and time slots, making them unavailable for bookings during the specified period.


Points to note
  1. The super admin and admins can add additional availability and unavailability for business by selecting the Business tab.
  2. The super admin, admins, and in-charge users can add additional availability and unavailability for resources by selecting the Resources tab.
  3. Admins can delete additional availability and unavailability for the business and their own profile.
  4. Admins cannot delete additional availability and unavailability added for other users.
  5. Users can delete additional availability and unavailability only for their own profile.
