3.Overview
Customer Login Preferences help you efficiently manage the customer sign-in experience on your booking pages. You can choose login modes based on your business needs:
Allow guest login – Enables quick and easy bookings without requiring an account for your customers.
Allow registered login – Requires sign-in or account creation before booking; ideal for businesses that need to track customer history.
You can enable both guest and registered user login options, giving customers the flexibility to choose how they want to book. You can also configure the custom fields for registered login, which would be listed in the booking form. This setting is applied at the business level and will reflect across all associated booking pages.4.Use case
Consider a managed IT services company, Zylker, that uses Zoho Bookings to schedule support sessions, consultations, and onboarding meetings. First-time customers prefer a quick booking experience without account creation, making guest login ideal. For contract-based clients, registered user login helps track booking history and manage ongoing services. To serve both groups effectively, Zylker enables both options, providing flexibility while ensuring a smooth and unified booking experience.
Solution with Customer Login Preferences:
The admin enables guest login for new or one-time clients to allow quick appointment booking without the need for account creation. For recurring or contract clients, a registered user login is used to track service details and maintain booking history. To cater to both user types seamlessly, the admin enables both options, giving customers the flexibility to book in the way that suits them best.
