Workspace Basic Information

Super Admins and Admins can view and edit this information. Managers can only view this information. Staff will not have access to this information.

This section contains basic details about your workspace:
  1. Name of the Workspace
  2. Email
  3. Status
  4. Description

To access this section

  1. Click the Manage Business icon  on the top-right corner, then click Workspaces.

  2. Click the required workspace and select Basic Information.


Name of the Workspace

This field represents the name of the workspace.

To edit the workspace name:
  1. Click the edit icon against the Name Of The Workspace field.


  2. Enter a preferred name for the workspace and click Save.


Email

You can add a custom workspace email address to send email notifications for all appointments made against this workspace.
Note:
1. If there is no workspace email set, then the Super Admin email or your business email address will be set as the sender for all notifications.
2. Only users who have a Premium Zoho Bookings plan or a Zoho One subscription, who signed up after October 15, 2020, can add a workspace email address. 
3. An email address can be used only in any ONE of the places: business, workspace, or staff. If the email address is already used in business or staff, it cannot be added to the workspace. You can either use a different email or remove it from business or staff email. 


To add a Workspace Email Address
  1. Click Add Email.



  2. A pop-up appears asking you to enter the email address. Enter the email address and click Add.



  3. Enter the 6-digit verification code sent to your email and click Verify.


    Note: You can click Resend Code to receive the code once again, in case the verification code was not received in the required email address.

  4. The required email address is verified. All notification emails sent from this workspace will be sent with the verified email as the sender.


Note: The workspace email address added will be applied as the sender email only if configured from the Notifications tab.

Status

This field indicates whether the workspace is enabled or disabled.

To update the workspace status

Toggle the Status field to the required value.


Deactivating a workspace will also deactivate all services associated with it. Activating it back does not activate services associated with it. You have to manually activate each service.

Description

This field contains the description about the workspace.

To edit the workspace description
  1. Click the edit icon against the Description field.



  2. Enter the required description for the workspace and click Save.


Note: The number of workspaces that can be added is governed by the subscription plan that users hold with Zoho Bookings.
