Box for Zoho BugTracker
Box is content management software you can use to manage all kinds of files securely. The Box extension for Zoho BugTracker helps you access files managed in your Box account and associate them with respective bugs of a project, all from within your Zoho BugTracker itself. You can also easily disassociate a file whenever it is no longer needed.
Installing the extension
The administrator can log in to Zoho Bugtracker and follow these steps to install the extension.
- Navigate to
> Marketplace > All. - Search for and click on Box for Zoho BugTracker.
- Click Install.
- Agree to the terms of service and click Install.
- Under the General section, select the profiles, projects, and users you want the extension to be shared with or given access to.
- Agree to the terms of use.
- Click Install Extension.
- Under the Connections section, click Authorize. Sign in with your Zoho credentials.
- Click Authorize. Sign in with your Box credentials.
Associating files to bugs
One or more files from Box can be associated with a particular bug in a project. The members linked to the bug can manage the files, and can preview or download them when needed.
- Navigate to your project and click Bugs from the left panel.
- Choose a bug and go to the Bug information page to associate files.
- Click Box in the Bugs tab.
- Click Associate Files.
- Choose the required files and click Associate files. The files will be associated with the bug.
- Click
to disassociate a file.
Uninstalling the extension
Once you uninstall the extension, the associated files will be deleted from the Zoho BugTracker. To uninstall the extension:
- Navigate to > Marketplace > All.
- Click Installed.
- Click Box for Zoho BugTracker.
- Click Uninstall.
