Importing a Counterparty Initiated Contract

Import a Draft Contract

  1. Select the Contracts tab at the top of the page. 
  2. Click Import Contract at the top-right corner of the contracts listing page. 
  3. Choose Counterparty in the Contract Initiated By Party picklist.
  4. Choose Draft from the Contract Status picklist, select the Contract Type of the contract you want to import, then click Continue.
  5. Enter the details in the Contract Details form, then click Next.
  6. Drag and drop the contract draft document in the Upload Document section. Alternatively, you can click inside the Upload Document section to browse and select the file from your computer. 
  7. Enter the Received Date and Time in the Received Date and Time field.
  8. If you want to edit the values in the Contract Details form, click Previous to return to the Contract Details form. 
  9. Click Import after entering the correct values in the Contract Details form and uploading the document. 
                  
The contract will be imported in the In Negotiation - Review Pending status along with the contract document that you uploaded.

Notes
Note:
  1. The contract's effective date, expiration, termination, and obligation schedules will be based on the selected Time Zone. To select a specific Time Zone other than the Organization's or Counterparty's, select Other under Time Zone, then choose the desired Time Zone. You can also change the contract's Time Zone during its In Negotiation - Review Pending status. 
  2. You can re-upload a draft document when the contract is in the In Negotiation - Review Pending state. For more information, see Re-upload Draft Document
  3. You can upload the document in .doc, .docx, or .rtf formats. 
  4. The maximum file size allowed is 10 MB.

Import a Signed Contract

  1. Select the Contracts tab at the top of the page. 
  2. Click Import Contract at the top-right corner of the contracts listing page. 
  3. Choose Counterparty in the Contract Initiated By Party picklist.
  4. Choose Signed from the Contract Status picklist, select the Contract Type of the contract you want to import, then click Continue.
  5. Enter the details in the Contract Details form, then click Next.
  6. Drag and drop the Signed Contract document and Digi Sign Certificate in the Upload Document section or click inside the section to browse and select the file from your computer to upload. 
  7. If you want to edit the values in the Contract Details form, click Previous to return to the Contract Details form. 
  8. Click Import after entering the correct values in the Contract Details form and uploading the document. 
The contract will be imported in the Signed status along with the signed contract document and digital signature certificate. It will become Active on the date you entered in the Contract Details form's Effective Date field.

Note
