Oracle SQL Connector

 Overview

Oracle SQL is a widely used relational database management system designed for enterprise environments across industries such as finance, healthcare, and retail.

The Oracle SQL connector allows you to read, write, and synchronize data from your Oracle SQL database directly within Zoho Creator, without exposing it to the public internet. Connectivity is handled securely through Databridge, a lightweight agent installed inside your network.

Setting up Oracle SQL connector

To connect Zoho Creator with your Oracle SQL database, follow the steps given below:

  1. In Zoho Creator, go to Operations -> DataBridge. From the list displayed, select the operating system and version that matches your host machine (for example, macOS - 64 bit). The Databridge package will be downloaded as a zip file.

  2. Install Databridge on the host machine where your Oracle SQL database is accessible. Once installed, start Databridge.

  3. With Databridge running, you're ready to connect Oracle SQL to Zoho Creator. In Zoho Creator, go to Operations -> Databridge and confirm that Databridge shows a status of Active.

  4. Once Databridge is active, click Add Connection and select the Oracle database connector.

  5. In the Add Connection pane, your databridge is automatically selected. Fill in the remaining details to complete the required configurations and click Create and Authorize.

  6. When the Link Account popup appears, provide the following details: username, password, host, port, and database name. Click Authorize to complete the connection.
