Custom buttons and custom links in Zoho CRM iOS app

Custom buttons 

These are user-defined buttons that lets you initiate actions that are not present by default.

For example, you can add a "Calculate Commission" custom button to your deal records. When clicked, it opens a widget that instantly calculates sales commissions based on your company's commission structure.
 
Custom buttons can be accessed in the Create/Clone, Edit, Details view and in the Related lists.

Note: Custom buttons can be created only in Zoho CRM web app. Read more

 To access custom buttons from a record    

  1. Go to a record.
  2. Tap the custom button right below the record actions such as email, check-in, call.
  3. If there is more than one custom button, Tap the drop-down and select the desired custom button.

To access custom button in create page 

  1. Go to the module with custom button configured.
  2. Click the Add option at the top-right corner.
  3. From the add form screen, select the custom button at the bottom.
 

To access custom button in clone page   

  1. Go to the module with custom button configured.
  2. Open a record.
  3. Click the More option > Clone.
  4. Select the custom button at the bottom.

To access custom button in edit page  

  1. Go to the module with custom button configured.
  2. Open a record.
  3. Click the Edit option at the top.
  4. Select the custom button at the bottom.

  3. Open related list
  4. Click on the  icon.
  5. Select the records, then click the custom button.
 
Custom links are user-defined links that helps you to access external applications or websites. These buttons can be accessed only in the record details view.
For example, a custom link can be used to access company details such as its profile, website, reviews, and other public information on Google, which saves time when cold calling a customer and needing to find this information quickly.

  1. Open the record with a custom link created.
  2. In the details view, tap the More icon.
  3. Tap links and select desired custom link
