Zoho Analytics connector for Zoho DataPrep
DataPrep supports importing data from Zoho Analytics using the Zoho Analytics connector. Zoho Analytics is a self-service BI and data analytics software that lets you visually analyze your data, create stunning data visualizations and discover hidden insights from your data.
To import data from Zoho Analytics
1. Click
Zoho Analytics
from the
Choose a data source
box.
2. Choose your organization from the
Choose organization
dropdown and select one of the available workspaces from the
Choose workspace
dropdown.

Choose tables to import into DataPrep by selecting the check boxes. All the tables including query tables which are present in the workspace will be displayed by default. You can filter tables and query tables using the filter
menu besides the search icon.
Query table is a feature in Zoho Analytics that enables you to prepare data for easy reporting and analysis. You can combine data from one or more tables in a database to facilitate easy reporting.

4. Click the
Import
button.
5. Once you have completed importing data, you can choose to schedule this import, or start preparing your data right away.
6. After preparing your data, you can export your data from Zoho DataPrep to Zoho Analytics using the Zoho Analytics connector.
To export data to Zoho Analytics
1. Click the
Export now
option from the
Export
menu in the
DataPrep
Studio
page.
2. Select
Zoho Analytics
in the side pane.
3. You can choose to include columns containing personal data by selecting the
Include columns with personal data
checkbox.
4. Choose the
Organization
and
Workspace
to which you want to export your dataset.
5. Click
Export
.
6. You may choose to run the export in the background by clicking the
Run in background
button.
7. You will be notified if the export is in-progress and when the export is completed via notification in the notification panel.
8. Once the export is complete you can choose to schedule the export by clicking the
Configure schedule
link.
Note:
1. The rows whose values match their respective data types will be exported.
2. Rows with data type mismatch are not exported and error details will be notified through mail and in the notification panel.
3. Datasets containing invalid data cannot be exported to analytics. Please make sure the dataset does not contain invalid values before
scheduling export
to Zoho Analytics.
