Unassign a Directory user from an enrolled device

Prerequisites
Roles required to perform this action:
  1. Organization admin
  2. Organization owner
If you want to unbind a user from a device assigned to them, you can remove the assignment of the user mapped to a local account and that account will start getting locally managed until another user is assigned to it.
 
To unassign a Directory user from an enrolled device:
  1. Click the required device.
  2. Click the icon, then click Unassign User.
  3. Click Unassign to confirm.
Upon unassigning a user, the device remains active and the user can access it with the last used login credentials. If you want to restrict the user from using the device, you can either deactivate the user or the device. If the Zoho Directory password is changed by a user, the login password of the device doesn't change, because the user is no longer assigned to the device.
