The Divider field in Zoho Forms helps you separate different parts of your form by letting you insert a horizontal line. It acts as a visual separator to organize your form layout and can be styled to match your form’s design.
Unlike the
Section field, the Divider does not have a label that will be visible in the live form. It is ideal when you want to create visual breaks between single or multiple fields without explicitly adding labels.
Add a Divider field

- Drag and drop the Divider field from the Page Elements section of the form builder.
- The Divider will appear as a horizontal line in the builder preview.
You can now configure its properties for better visibility and alignment with your form’s design.
Divider Properties

The Divider field can be customized by configuring the following properties:
- Field Label: This label is only used for referencing the field name. Unlike section fields, it won't be shown as a label in the live form.
- Field Size: Choose from Small, Medium, or Large to adjust the length of the divider. As the size increases, the line grows outward from the center.
- Style: Select from various line styles to suit your form layout.
- Thickness: Adjust the line weight to make it more or less prominent.
- Line Color: Choose a color that complements your form’s theme. To set the line color, navigate to Themes → Form Customization → Special Fields → Divider.

Note:

1. Divider field is supported only in the latest version of Zoho Forms. If you're working on an older version, switch to the latest version to use this field.
2. Divider field is not supported for Card Forms.
Where to use the Divider field
The Divider field does not collect any data, nor does it display labels or instructions since it's a visual element only. It can be used effectively in many scenarios, including the following:
- Separate personal information fields from address or payment sections
- Create subtle breaks in long or multi-topic forms
- Improve form readability and visual structure without using section headers
