How to collect multiple line entries using the same form?
Do you have a form where you want to let your respondent provide as many entries as they want, all from within the same form?
Let's look at an order form for example. Your customer may wish to purchase more than one product using the same form and
the number of products chosen may vary with each customer's order.
Creating multiple fields in your form to accomplish this would appear very complicated and unorganized to your customer, and may even scare them away from filling out your form!
No need to worry! Zoho Forms has a simple solution for these cases: "The Subform".
Just drag and drop a
Subform field
from the
Advanced Fields to your form and add the required fields in it, such as
product name, quantity, price, etc.
Your customers can add multiple rows to add multiple products in an order. You can
also
avoid receiving duplicate entries and set the maximum number of products that can be added to an order in the Subform Properties.
There are even more benefits to using a Subform.
The Subform responses can also be included in the Thank You page and email notifications as a table or a summary.
