Zoho FSM provides a set of
default dashboards that give you ready-made insights of your field service data. In addition to these, you can create your own custom dashboards tailored to the specific metrics and records your team cares about most.
Custom dashboards let you decide exactly what to track and how to present it. You can assemble them from a mix of components, Table, Chart, and KPI, each drawing on the Zoho FSM modules and attributes you choose. By combining the components that matter to you, custom dashboards help you surface the right information for the right people, keeping everyone aligned around a clear, always-current picture of your operations.

Embed URL
The Embed URL option lets you generate a link for a dashboard so it can be displayed outside of the Dashboards page.
To access it, hover over the required dashboard, click the More options icon [⋮], and select Embed URL. Use the generated link to embed or share the dashboard as needed.
Disable a Dashboard
The Status toggle in the dashboards list controls whether a dashboard is available to users on the Home page. When the toggle is enabled, the dashboard is active and visible to the relevant user profiles. Only the active dashboards will be listed in the dropdown in the Home page.
To disable a dashboard, locate it in the list and disable the Status toggle. The dashboard will no longer appear in the dropdown in the Home page, but it is not deleted, its components and configuration are retained, so you can re-enable it at any time by enabling the toggle again.
Table Component
The Table component lets you display Zoho FSM records in a structured, row-and-column format directly on your dashboard making it ideal when you want to scan, review, or act on individual entries at a glance.
You can build a Table component using either Custom or Default
FSM List Views. This means any list view you have already configured, whether it's a system-provided default or one you have tailored with your own filters and columns, can be surfaced as a table on the dashboard.
To add the table component:
- Drag and drop the Table component to the dashboard.
- In the Add Table popup, do the following and click Proceed:
- Select the Module whose default/custom view you want to use.
- Select the Default/Custom View you want to use.
- Provide a View Name. This will appear as the name of this table component in the dashboard. By default, the chosen view's name will be preselected in this field.

- Click Save.
Chart Component
The Chart component lets you visualize your Zoho FSM data graphically, turning records from your modules into clear, at-a-glance insights.
You can create a range of chart types to suit the story your data needs to tell: Column and Bar charts for comparing values across categories (such as work orders by status or jobs per technician), Line and Area charts for tracking changes over time (such as appointments completed each month), Pie and Donut charts for showing how a whole breaks down into parts (such as revenue by service type), and Funnel charts for visualizing progression through stages (such as the flow from requests to invoiced jobs).
To add the chart component:
- Drag and drop the Chart component to the dashboard.
- In the Add Chart popup, do the following and click Proceed:
- Provide a Component Name. This will appear as the name of the chart component on the dashboard.
- Select the Module whose values you want to use.
Based on the module selected, subsequent dropdowns will be displayed relevant to the values you choose. - Select the type of the chart.
- Select a value for the Measure (Y-axis).
This is the value you want to plot on the Y-axis (X-axis for Bar chart). The values listed here are based on the selections you made in the Module field and its related dropdowns. - Select a value for the Grouping.
This determines how the values on the X-axis are grouped (Y-axis for Bar chart). The values listed here are based on the selection you made in the Measure (Y-axis) dropdown.
- Click Save.
Following are examples of the different charts:

KPI Component
The KPI component lets you track a single key metric as a headline figure on your dashboard, giving you an immediate read on the health of your field service operations. You see one clear number, such as total revenue, open work orders, or completed appointments, that answers an important question at a glance.
You can calculate this metric using different aggregates, choosing how the underlying records are summarized, whether that's a count of records, a sum of values, an average, or another calculation suited to what you want to measure.
You can also set a Duration to define the time period the KPI covers, and compare it against the same duration in the previous period. This comparison reveals whether a metric is improving or declining.
To add the KPI component:
- Drag and drop the KPI component to the dashboard.
- In the Standard/Basic KPI popup, do the following and click Save:
- Provide a Widget Name. This will appear as the name of the KPI component on the dashboard.
- Select the Module whose values you want to use.
Based on the module selected, subsequent dropdowns will be displayed relevant to the values you choose. - Select an Aggregate that you want to see as the KPI.
- For Duration, select the Date Field based on which the records need to be fetched and the Time Period within which you want to check the KPI.
- Compare To: select the period against which the current KPI value should be compared. This determines the baseline used to calculate whether the metric has increased or decreased. Choose from the following values:
Previous Period (Relative): the previous period, but only up to the date corresponding to the current date in that period.
Same Period Previous Year: the same period in the previous year.
Same Period Previous Year (Relative): the same period in the previous year, but only up to the date corresponding to the current date in that period.
For example, if you choose This Quarter for Duration, selecting Previous Period compares against the whole of the previous quarter; Previous Period (Relative) compares against the previous quarter only up to the date matching today's date within that quarter; Same Period Previous Year compares against the same quarter last year; and Same Period Previous Year (Relative) compares against the same quarter last year, up to the date matching today's date within that quarter.
The field will be available only when the Standard layout is chosen. - Objective: select how a change in value should be interpreted:
Increase as Positive: an increase in the KPI is shown as a positive (favorable) change.
Increase as Negative: an increase in the KPI is shown as a negative (unfavorable) change.
The field will be available only when the Standard layout is chosen.
- Click Save.
