Error creating an appointment - The chosen service resource is assigned to another appointment

Error Encountered


Reason 

One or more of the Service Resources (field agent or crew) you want to assign to the service appointment are already assigned to another service appointment.

Resolution 

You can try one of the following options:
  1. From the service appointment, remove the service resources who are already assigned to another service appointment.



  2. Reschedule the service appointment mentioned in the error message to a different time. Change the Scheduled Start Date Time and Scheduled End Date Time to a time when the service resource you want to assign is available. You can find the availability of the service resource in either the Gantt or Calendar view of the Dispatch Console.Ensure that rescheduling the service appointment doesn't affect the customer.
