Edge Lite is a lightweight agent for supported gateways, designed to provide a fast entry point into edge computing involving Modbus based devices. It simplifies communication between Modbus sensors, controllers, and Zoho IoT application. It uses MQTT for secure communication with the Zoho IoT application.
Edge Lite enables data collection, command execution and remote configuration with minimal setup.

Custom Data Processing (currently in beta)
Edge Lite includes an optional Custom Data Processing feature that allows edge level scripting. While Edge Lite automatically normalizes and transmits data at configured intervals, scripts can:
Apply formulas and calculations
Perform aggregations (min, max, average)
Run windowed calculations over defined cycles
Trigger events/messages based on conditions (e.g., threshold breaches)
