Edge Lite Installation : Windows

Edge Lite is supported on devices running the Windows operating system. This guide explains how to install Edge Lite on those devices.

Prerequisite

  • PC with Windows installed
  • Internet Access

Steps in installing Edge Lite for Windows devices

The installation involves the following steps:

Obtaining Edge Lite set up files

  1. Obtain Zoho Edge Lite for windows devices from support@zohoiot.com.
  2.  You'll have the following file:
Zoho_IOT_Edge_Lite_0.3.0 5.exe
NotesNote: The version number of the file you receive may differ.

Installing Edge Lite

After obtaining the installation file, you can proceed with installing Edge Lite on your device.
  1. Double-click on the .exe file or right-click the file and select Open.



  2. In the User Control dialog box, click Yes to begin the installation. 
  3. In the set up wizard, click Next.



  4. Read and accept the license terms, then click Next. 



  5. Click Change to select a different installation directory.



  6. Click Proceed to install in the selected or default directory.



  7. In the installation successful dialog box, click Finish.


Edge Lite is now successfully installed in your devices.

Accessing the web interface of Edge Lite

Edge Lite's web interface can be accessed by entering the following address in your browser.

      http://localhost:8070/


You can also right click the hidden icons tray in the task bar > right click on Zoho IoT Launcher > select Open Config.



Log in to the agent using the default credentials:
Username: admin
Password: admin01
You'll be prompted to update your password.
