Understanding Portals in Zoho IoT: A Comprehensive Guide

Understanding Portals

Introduction

The Portal, also referred to as the App Gallery, serves as your workspace for creating and accessing Zoho IoT applications. After signing up, you can create a Portal from which you can create and access your application. You can add more applications as required in the Portal.

For example, you can create a portal named Zylker, which is your company name, and create multiple applications, such as Zylker Energy Monitoring, Zylker DG Monitoring, and Zylker Logistics, to address your requirements.

The portal creator will be the portal owner by default. The portal can be managed by the owner from the portal details page.
Notes
Note:
  1. A user can only create one portal.
  2. A user can be the owner of/associated with a maximum of five portals. The user may be associated as a portal owner with the portal by an existing owner.

Refer to the Working with Portals document for step-by-step procedures on creating portals.
