Screen sharing for online meetings and webinars

Presenters can share their screen or selected application windows during an online meeting or webinar. This helps presenters deliver presentations and give demonstrations to convey ideas better. Participants are also allowed to share their screen for collaboration during online meetings. Learn More.
 

How to share a screen or application in:

Chrome

  1. Enter your meeting or webinar window.
  2. Select your audio option and click Share screen. A window will appear.
  3. Select your entire screen, or an application you want to share, and click Share.

How to Share Screen with Audio

NotesNote: Before sharing your screen, make sure to toggle on the "Also share system audio" option.
To mute or unmute the audio from your screen while screen sharing, click the mute/unmute icon as shown below. 

 

InfoAbout Screen sharing with Audio: 
  1. The feature is supported only in Chromium-based browsers and isn't yet available for the Firefox browser.  

  2. The desktop app doesn't support this feature.  

  3. On Mac and windows it's available for tab, window and entire screen sharing.  

  4. On Linux, it allows screen sharing with audio in browser tabs. 

Firefox

  1. Enter your meeting or webinar window.
  2. Select your audio option and click Share screen. A pop-up will appear.
  3. Select the screen you want to share and click Allow.

Note: Firefox version 132 above in Mac OS supports screen sharing that is in accordance to the user's system settings.  


To share your screen in the Firefox browser on macOS, select one of the available options: share your entire screen or share a specific window. 

Safari 

  1. Enter your meeting or webinar window.

  2. Click Share screen. A pop-up will appear.

  3. Select the screen you want to share and click Allow to Share Window or Allow to Share Screen based on your preference.

Note: Zoho Meeting in Safari browser is currently available only to attendees of a webinar. 

Zoho Meeting Desktop App 

  1. Enter your meeting or webinar window.
  2. Select your audio option and click Share screen.
    1. To share your screen (or a connected monitor screen), click Entire screen. Then click the thumbnail of the screen you want to share and click Share.
    2. To share an application, click Application window. Then select the application you want to share and click Share. 

Zoho Meeting Android app

  1. Open the Zoho Meeting app on your Android phone.
  2. To start an instant meeting click Meet Now. To start any scheduled meeting, go to the Upcoming meetings.
  3. Click Start next to the topic of the meeting.
  4. Check your audio and video and click Proceed.
  5. Click the Share Screen icon at the bottom to share your screen. 
  6. A confirmation pop-up will appear. Click Yes to share your android screen with participants in real-time.

Note
  1. Keep app windows open - You cannot share an application window if you've minimized it.
  2. Switching screens - To switch from sharing one screen to another, stop screen sharing and initiate it again with the new screen or application.
  3. Recording screen/app sharing - Screen and application sharing will be captured in meeting and webinar recordings.
  4. Application windows can only be shared using the Zoho Meeting Desktop app or Google Chrome browser. 
  5. App sharing from connected monitors - Currently, only Mac users can do app sharing from connected monitors using the Zoho Meeting desktop app. However, both Mac and Windows users can do app sharing from connected monitors using the Google Chrome browser.
