- Custom role with "Edit Users" permission.
Permissions required to perform this action:
- Edit users
You can edit a user's details, such as their info, photo, and email address.
The steps to Edit User Details vary between the three User Interface versions
supported in Zoho One. Select the UI version you use from the tabs below
and proceed with the steps that follow.
One Experience UI
You can edit a user's details, such as their info, photo, and email address. Follow the steps to edit the details of a user:
- Sign in to Zoho One , then click the Admin Panel icon
in the left menu.
- Click User Management on the left menu, the Users tab opens by default.
- Click on the user. You can use
to find a specific user from the list.
To edit a user's info, click Edit. Make the required changes, then click Update.
For external users, you can only edit custom fields. You can use these custom fields to collect and store certain information about them (such as title, contact detail, joining date) that might be useful for your organization.
- To edit a user's photo:
- Click
on the user's photo to upload a new photo.
- Click
on the user's photo to delete the existing photo.
- To manage a user's email address, click
, then click Manage Email Address, then:
- Click Add Email to add a secondary email address. If Zoho Mail is assigned to the user, Add Email can also be used to create email aliases.
- Click
next to an email address to make it the primary address.
- Hover over an email address and click the [delete.png] icon to remove it.

- Sign in to Zoho One , then click the Directory Settings icon
in the left menu.
- Click User Management on the left menu, the Users tab opens by default.
