Users - Reset Password | Admin Guide - Zoho One

Reset password for users

Overview

If a user forgets their password or can't sign in to Zoho One, you can reset their password to help them regain access. After the reset, the user will receive an email containing a one-time password, which they can use to set a new password. This process ensures secure and uninterrupted access to their account.
Notes
You cannot reset passwords for
1. Zoho One Organization Owners or external users.
2. users with unconfirmed (with an Yet to Verify tag) verified-domain email address. Once the user approves it, the email address can be used to reset password.

Prerequisites

  1. Roles required to reset password:
    1. Org Owner
    2. Org Admin
    3. Custom role with "Reset Password" permission. Learn about adding roles.
  2. Import users using a CSV file (maximum of 300 users per import).
