Issue Tracker in Zoho Projects
The Issue Tracker module allows you to configure, and track issues within Zoho Projects. You can customize the issue tracking process and automate them by creating Business Rules.

Use case
Software development/ IT: You work in a software development company, and your team is responsible for tracking and resolving bugs. A QA team member discovers a critical bug and reports it using the web-based form. Using a business rule, you can automatically assign the bug to a developer. The developer will receive an instant notification on the bug.
Construction: As a Quality Checker for a construction company, you found that a few of the living room's floor tiles are broken. This issue can be added to the Issues module and you can ensure that the issue is addressed within a specific time by setting an SLA.
Manufacturing: A quality analyst of the clothing & apparel industry identifies that a few sets of clothing have broken stitches. The same can be added as an issue in the respective project's Issue module. This issue can be assigned automatically to a particular engineer based on the product chosen using Workflow rules.
Configuration
Users can
configure the client permissions and email settings at a project-level. This allows the user to have control on who can access project-related issues.
Customization
Users can
customize the issue tracker to align with their organization's specific issue management needs. This includes defining custom fields, statuses, workflows, and business rules to optimize issue tracking processes.
Automation
Automation in the Issue Tracker module helps streamline issue management and ensures that responses to problems are efficient and timely. This is done by automating notifications, business rules, webhooks, and
SLAs.
