Profiles and Roles

Users perform different functions based on organization’s structure and their individual designations. While some users can perform all the actions in a portal and see all critical project information, some need only limited access. Using Profiles and Roles in Zoho Projects, you can customize access privileges and the user’s role in the organization.

Profile: A profile defines the permissions needed to access features in Zoho Projects

Role: Role defines the users designation or position in an organization. Users with same role can be assigned different profiles based on the permissions required.

Custom Profiles and Roles are available in our Enterprise Plan. Default profiles (except admin and client) can be edited in all paid plans.
