Click URL Parameter in the Value from the dropdown.
Type in the parameter name as Email in the Parameter Name text box.
Click Save.
Navigate to the Launch tab and click Publish.
Copy the survey URL from the web link text box.
After completing this, log in to your Zoho CRM account.
Click the Settings icon and select Setup.
Select Templates in the Customization section.
Click New Template.
Click Select Module and select Next.
Select a Blank Template.
Type in the Name and Subject for the template which will be available at the top left corner of the page.
Paste the survey URL and type in '?' followed by 'parameter name=' (symbol) in the content text area.
Add a '#' symbol, and you will see the merge tags available in CRM.
Select the merge tag corresponding to the parameter name. For example, if the email is your parameter name, then it should be appended to the survey URL as (https://survey.zohopublic.com/zs/HPCuOF?email=${Lead Email}).
Copy the entire text (survey URL with the custom variable appended to it) and click the Create Link icon next to the bullet list icon.
Paste the copied text in the Enter Web URL text box.
Type in a title for the URL in the Title text box, then click Save.
Go back to the Zoho CRM homepage and select the module in which you have created the template. For example, if it was a lead module then, select the Lead module and select the leads to whom you want to send the survey. Click Send Email and select the created email template, and click Send.
