Zoho Writer Automation: Free Credit Limits for Zoho One Users

1. What is the free credit limit for Zoho One users?  

  • By default, all ZohoOne users get 1000 free credits per month.
  • In addition to the above, for each ZohoOne user license, 50 free credits will be added per month. And, this limit is capped at 1000 free credits based on their user license.
  • So, they can get maximum up to 2000 free credits/month.
  • Yearly subscribers receive all their monthly free credits for the year at once, and there are no monthly usage limits.

2. Who should buy the Writer automation credits add-on?

The add-on is for users who:
  • Need to use Writer credits above their free limit.
  • Performs more than 1000 operations in a day using the automation credits. 
Notes
For users subscribed to the Writer Automation Add-on, we offer a daily merge limit of 3,000 (excluding Merge and Email, and Merge and Download operations). Please ensure that your account has sufficient credits to perform the merge operations.
To extend the daily limit, please fill out this form. Our support team will validate it and extend the daily limit for valid use cases.

3. How to purchase the add-on?  

a) Zoho One Online Customers can purchase the add-on directly from Writer Admin console

  • Go to the Writer Admin Panel (Refer Step 1 and 2).
  • Navigate to the Subscription tab.
  • Under the Add-ons section, click the Upgrade or Change Plan button.
  • If you already have an online payment subscription with ZohoOne, the payment widget will open to complete your add-on purchase.
  • Confirm your required credit limit and proceed to complete the purchase.

  • Add-ons can be purchased using either a Flexible Billing or Fixed Billing option, directly from the Writer Admin Console.
  • You can also switch from Flexible Billing to Fixed Billing through the payment widget in the Writer Admin Console.
  • b) Zoho One Offline Payment Customers

    Offline customers must contact Zoho One support (support@zohoone.com) and provide the required plan and merge credit details. The team will then enable the add-on subscription for them.

    4. How to downgrade or cancel the subscription?

    To downgrade the add-on or switch from Fixed Billing to Flexible Billing, you must contact the ZohoOne Support team (support@zohoone.com).
