Integrating Telephony with Zoho Cliq
Zoho Cliq's Phone system allows you to integrate with your favourite PBX provider via Zoho Telephony to make or receive sales and support calls. Before Integrating with Zoho Cliq, you will have to set up Zoho telephony via one of the following apps:
Setup Telephony with Zoho Cliq
To setup Telephony as your phone system in Cliq, do the following:
Navigate to the Admin Panel and select Phone System under Integrations.
Click the 'Setup Zoho Telephony' button to enable Telephony.
Once Zoho Telephony is set up with Zoho Cliq. A toggle button will be displayed next to Phone System. You can disable the toggle button in case you want to disable Zoho Telephony and integrate with Zoho Voice, which is Zoho's in-house phone system.
How to make a call via Telephony?
You can make a phone call via Telephony only when you have enabled Zoho Telephony as your phone system and integrated your PBX provider with Zoho Telephony. Whenever a number is mentioned in a chat or profile, Zoho Cliq smart suggestions detects the number and gives you options to choose from. Click on 'Make a phone call,' and you can make your Telephony call directly from Zoho Cliq.
Note:
When you have enabled your status to sync across Zoho apps using the unified status in Zoho Cliq, whenever you start a telephony call from Zoho Cliq, your Zoho Cliq status will change into In a Telephony session.
