Actions that you can perform in a Cliq meeting

Scheduling Cliq Audio / Video Meeting

Adding Participants to meetings

If you have initiated your call via    Calendar Events /  Channel Meeting / Instant chats /  Threads follow the below steps to add participants:
In the Create dialog that appears-
  1. If all the members are physically present in the same location, select Face-to-Face meeting. You can enter the following details of the event -
  • Name - Type the name of the meeting. The maximum characters you can type is 255.
  • Date & Time - Choose the date and time from and to.
  • Repeat Event - Check this box to repeat the calendar event on a daily, weekly, monthly or yearly basis. You can also select when you want the recurring event to end by selecting the following options - Never, After 'n' events, or a specific date.
  • Location - Type where you want to conduct the meeting or click on "+Select Room" to start a meeting from a room using the Cliq Rooms app.
  • Assign to - Select who you want to assign the meeting to : Participants(username/mail ID) or Conversation(channels)

  • Alert Type - Select an alert type from the following options : None, Remind Just Me (5,10,15 mins),Include Zia.

  • Agenda - Type a small description on the purpose of the meeting.

  • Attachments - Attach from Cloud or Upload from Computer.


       b. If you are remotely located and want to interact real-time, select Online Meetings. Apart from the options available in the Face-to-face meeting, you can also select -
  • Meeting mode - You can select Audio or Video call, tick the box to Record the meeting, and also Add Co-hosts and Add Speakers.
  • Permissions - You can also set permissions on who can Start Screen share or Access Grid view and also set General Configurations.
Once all the required fields are entered, click on Create button.

Adding participants to instant meetings  

Click on the  Add participant button present in the bottom menu
You can invite participants in the following ways:
  1. Send invitation to the participants via mail by selecting the Send mail button.
  1. Click on the plus icon and Invite users
  1. Click on Copy Invitation and share it with the members in your organization
  1. You can also add a participant to a meeting by clicking on the Invite option present adjacent to "Participants" from the participant panel.
  1. Enable  Allow external users to join using this link
  1. Copy Link
  1. Share it with the external user

  1. For the meetings initiated from History, the participants in your pre-initiated meeting will by default become the current participants of your meeting.

Options in a meeting 

Audio/video meetings are a great way to collaborate with your team in real time. When you start a audio/video call, you have the following options.

Chat 

The Chat icon is made available at the top right corner of your meeting window. You can click on it to have conversations.


Participants Panel

Click on the participants icon present at the top right corner of your meeting to access the participants panel.  Here you can view the host, co-host, participants and the users who have not yet to joined the meeting.

Actions available in Participants Panel  

  1. Ring all: The ring all option is made available adjacent to Yet to join users . Clicking on Ring all will notify the added participants in the meeting.

  1. Mute All, Unmute all and Invite participant options are made available when hovered over joined participants. Click on the respective options to perform the required actions.
  1. To request a participant to unmute, to make them Co-host and to restrict a user from unmuting themselves " Hover over the individual participants then click on the 3 dots, the following options will be made available: "Ask to unmute", "Make Co-host" and "Restrict unmute".
  1. Mute individual participant: Hover over the participant you want to mute, Click on the mute icon that appears.

Invoke participant yet to join

Here, you can view the host, co-host, speakers, participants, and those yet to join. If an admin or host accidentally invites someone and wishes to remove them after the meeting starts, they can hover over their profile picture. A cancel icon will appear, allowing them to choose to revoke the meeting invite.


Actions available in the meeting menu

The meeting menu is aligned at the centre bottom of the meeting. you have the following options made available there:


  1. Turn mic off : Click on the Turn mic off icon to mute yourself

  1. End meeting: Click on the End Meeting icon to end your meeting

  1. Leave meeting: Click on the End Meeting icon, option to leave the meeting will appear, click on it to leave the meeting

Note: When the Host leaves a meeting, they will be presented with the option to assign a new host

Share: You have the following options made available under Share

Start Whiteboard: The host can share a whiteboard  by clicking on the Share icon and selecting Start Whiteboard
Screen Share: The Host the active participants can Share a whiteboard  by clicking on the Share icon and selecting Screen Share.Only one participant can share their screen at a particular time.
Start Presentation: The host can share a presentation  by clicking on the Share icon and selecting Start Presentation.


Screen Share: iOS app

To share your screen during a meeting in the iOS app, do the following: 
Click the meatball icon (...) in the meeting and select Start screen share.  

Select Zoho Cliq and click Start Broadcast.
You will be able to see a notification on your screen saying, "You are sharing your screen!". You can select Stop screen share to stop sharing your screen.

Add Reactions

By default, all reactions will be enabled in the settings. If necessary, you can restrict your meeting audience to using only the basic reactions via permission settings.

           

      

To adjust permissions, do the following:

  1. Enable Reaction permissions as per your preference from permission settings

  1. Click on the Add reactions icon and respond with a Reaction/Emojis / GIF/ Custom Stickers.

Gestures 

You can enable to respond with gestures in Zoho Cliq. You will find five default gestures in Cliq. Enable the gestures in the permission settings.

More options

You have the following options made available under More.


  1. Start recording: Record an ongoing call by clicking on Start recording. You can select Stop recording if you want to stop recording the meeting and just resume the meeting.
  1. Start live streaming: Live stream the meeting and allow guest users to join it using the link.
  1. Settings: Cliq Audio / Video meeting has a set of permissions and general configurations made available for the host to enable for the meeting participants. Follow the below steps to stay in control of your Cliq meetings.
  1. Send Feedback: You can rate your Cliq meeting and provide feedback so that we can enhance the quality of our meetings.
