What are smart suggestions in Cliq chats?

Smart suggestions in Cliq auto-detects the context behind every conversation and provides you with a set of suggestions that'll help make your conversations actionable.
Let us look at the smart suggestions in Cliq:
  1. Day and Date
  2. Email ID
  3. Phone Number 
Day and Date:
When you enter a date or day in the chat, Cliq will auto-detect it and underlines it. When a user clicks on it, they will get suggestions to create events like Add to Calendar which creates meetings or Set Reminder which is used to set reminders using @mentions.


Note:
  • The Date should be of the format mm-dd-yyyy, mm/dd/yyyy or in full form (Eg. 30th March 2022).
  • The Day should be of the full form (Eg. Thursday)
  • Only future dates will be auto-detected for smart suggestions.
  • Cliq also detects words like today or tomorrow to provide suggestions.
Email ID:
When you enter an email id in a chat, Cliq auto-detects it and underlines it. When a user clicks on it, it provides smart suggestions like -
  • Start Chat - Chat with the user from the same organization using Cliq
  • Search across Zoho - Searches the user across all Zoho applications of the same organization.
  • Send Mail - Sends a mail instantly.
  • Copy mail address - Copies the mail address to save or send to others.

Phone Number:
When you enter a phone number in a chat, Cliq auto-detects it and underlines it. When a user clicks on it, they will get suggestions to Make a phone call as Cliq can be integrated with Zoho Telephony and Copy number to save or send to others.

In case you are not connected to Zoho Telephony, you can still Make a phone call using your phone. To do so -
  • Make sure your mobile and your system are synced with the same email account.
  • The phone details from your synced Gmail account shall be obtained.
  • The selected number will be sent as a push notification to your phone.
You can also choose other compatible applications available on your system.
Note:
Cliq updates user status as "In a Telephony session" when the user is on a telephony call.
