Kanban process time report
The kanban process time refers to the time taken by the work items to cross each status until completion. That is, you can track the time spent by work items in each status.
What the report shows?
This report shows the total duration of items in each of the statuses.
- X-axis denotes the statuses on the board.
- Y-axis denotes the duration spent by items.
- The tinted bars represent the statuses.
Insights
- You can view the duration spent on all the statuses on your board.
- You can track the average time spent on a particular status by the total number of work items.
Using the data from this report, you can evaluate and refocus on the status that takes the maximum time to progress. This will help users plan the upcoming sprints.
Report table
The table below the report provides you with a summary view of the details plotted on the graph or chart. The table captures the status, the average duration, and the number of items in that status.
Access lead time trend report
To access the report:
- Go to the kanban project.
- Select the Reports module.
- Select Kanban Process Time report type.
- Hover over the plotted points to view details.
- Click the plotted points or scroll down to navigate to the detailed table for the report.
You can export the reports in PDF and PNG formats for external use.
You can schedule exports to automate periodic export of the reports. Navigate to the Export History to access the exported files.
