Manage workspace
A workspace is the equivalent of an organization or a portal. It is the umbrella under which all aspects of your projects are housed. It is a common space for your users to access and manage all the projects and their related activities.
Let's assume you are an architectural solution provider and you are looking to manage your projects using Zoho Sprints. Your team comprises your employees, your agents, your vendors, and your clients. Your firm will have multiple projects running at the same time with different deadlines, complexities, budgets, and other factors.
To run your projects successfully, you need to:
- have users assigned to supervise projects
- set goals and create roadmaps
- create a plan and strategy
- collaborate with your teams
- have users assigned to work on the tasks in each project
- keep your agents, vendors, and clients in the loop
- estimate effort, time, and budget
- make projections
- adhere to the estimated time and effort
- deliver quality output every time
To do all this, you need a common work area for your team to collaborate, communicate ideas and plans, create transparency, track all project-related activities, and incrementally learn from previous feedback. A workspace is the place for all this.
So, setting up your workspace is an absolute necessity after you sign up to Zoho Sprints. Initially, you need to provide a workspace name which is used to access it. You can customize the various settings to your preference and create a well-planned structure for your workspace.
