One Event, multiple Contacts

There have been many postings over the years about including multiple Contacts on one Event. Example - one lunch meeting with 3 Contacts - the Prospect, a Consultant and an Analyst. And having the Event appear on all 3 Contacts' Completed Activities. And not using the Participants field.

I think I'm going to create a custom module with From and To fields, Subject, Location, and a Multi-Select Lookup field. Once the user creates a new record in this Custom Module and selects all of the Contacts in the Multi-Select Lookup, my custom function would create separate Events Records for each Contact found in the Multi-Select Lookup field, copying the start, end, subject, etc to each Event. I'll just have to get around the conflicting event warning.
