Enhance Your CRM Experience with Zoho Webinars in Sandbox Environments

Greetings all,

Zoho Webinars will now be available for testing and deployment in Zoho CRM's sandbox environment. Sandboxes offer a safe way to replicate production environments and enable risk-free testing, training, and refining processes before making actual changes.

In addition to Zoho Survey and Zoho Social in CRM's sandboxes, we now have Zoho Webinars.

Users with admin profiles can:
  • Integrate a sandbox account with Zoho Webinar
  • Deploy this integration to the production account

Test and deploy

Testing and deploying the Zoho Webinar integration and configuration from a sandbox account are similar to those of Survey and Social. You can practice inviting attendees without actually sending them emails. After confirming that the integration works correctly in the sandbox, you can proceed to deploy it into production.

What configurations can I make?

You can make the following configurations:
  • Give existing CRM users access to Zoho Webinar.
  • Add a webinar reminder.
  • Push registrants to a desired module.
  • Sync Zoho Webinar service statuses to CRM fields by setting member status.

Post-integration

After integrating and configuring Zoho Webinar in your sandbox, create a Zoho Webinar in the Campaigns module inside your sandbox, upon which time a registration URL will be generated. You can use this URL to test configurations and train users on how to invite potential registrants, generate reports, create polls, and more.

Find the registration URL in the Overview under the Campaigns record. To launch the webinar, click Launch Webinar in the top panel.


Note:
  1. Existing Zoho Webinar integrations in your production account will not be copied to your sandbox when creating or rebuilding sandboxes. Either disable the integration from the production environment before integrating it with the sandbox account, or use the sandbox to test out a fresh Zoho Webinar integration.
  2. After deploying the integration to production, the data inside your sandbox account will not be moved to production and will remain undeleted.
  3. Though sandboxes are for testing, any changes made inside your sandbox account with respect to the integrated account will be reflected in your live Zoho Webinar account.
  4. Before deployment, there may arise conflicts if your deployment from your sandbox fails certain dependency checks. To qualify the deployment, you need to resolve the conflicts and start the deployment again.
    1. For example, if there are any Webinar integrations in the production account, a conflict will arise and stop the deployment.
    2. There are other similar conflicts that may arise. To learn more, refer to Possible Conflicts during deployment.
