Zoho Payroll [India Edition] - ICICI Bank Integration
It seems that ICICI integration with Payroll (and other Zoho apps) has become progressively more difficult this year.
It was great until last year but then some apps started requiring a token generated on ICICI website. The whole point of Direct Deposit was to NOT visit bank website. The token was initially valid for 30 days and now it is valid for only 8 days.
Now, the payments cannot be made on bank holidays and limited to 1 AM to 7 PM (when RBI has moved all systems to be 24 x 7 including on holidays).
Then today a failure happened with the error "Unable to connect to bank gateway" and I got a message "Re-initiation has been disabled by ICICI request".
Also, reading other documents, it looks like ICICI integration is disabled for new customers. Is there any future or do we shift banks?
