Uploaded PDFs do not open on "Tags" tab.
We have uploaded PDFs that open fine in the "folders" view of Zoho Docs, but do not open from the "tags" view. Could this be fixed? Would it be possible to implement an "All" view in addition to the individual document types? Not having this view makes it very easy to miss documents or create duplicates. Versioning is important for us, so duplicate documents are problematic.Thanks for your work, Drew

How to create a document reference number system
Hi, We would like to use Zoho Writer and Zoho Documents to manage our internal and external documents for our business. These documents are reports, letter, RFP ... that we need to send to our customers and we need a unique reference on each doc. Activating Google gears for offline uploads
Hi all, There are still many chinks in Zoho docs. One is it doesn't still support either .ods, .pdf or/and .ppt :( . I tried uploading all of them but no cookie for me :( What I would like to see though most of all is Google Gears/or/and Mozilla Prism with Docs as a synchronization or/and backup tool. I am aware of the differences between the two. Is this on the roadmap? Also is there a public repository where the roadmap is defined ?

Unable to Edit a Shared spreadsheet
Hello, Someone shared a worksheet document with me. I was given view and modify rights. I can see it in 'Shared to Me' folder. When I click on the document and/or icon, it pops up with 'document details' and a link on the document that says 'download'. I don't want to download, but I want to use Zoho Sheet to edit it, and have Zoho collaboration feature to keep track of the changes back and forth between the person that shared this document (the creator of the document) and me. Discrepancy in groups
Either I don't understand the interface or there is a discrepancy in group memberships. I have a document I am trying to share. When I click the links under writer.zoho.com to share to a group ("NCSU Basic Camp 2009" is the name) I see the group with six members and 32 pending. The links I refer to are Share / Add Groups / My Groups / Edit (for the group). Now I go to personal.zoho.com and click Contacts. I see the "NCSU Basic Camp 2009" group, but with only two members. Hi there, I want to edit a Word document in real time with another colleague. I am confused. I was under the assumption that Zoho allowed people who do not have MS Office to work on and revise my files (I have MS Office) completely online. However, when one of my staff tries to open a shared Excel file I posted, they get a little pop-up from Windows that asks them if they want to open or save the file. I have shared docs with other and other have shared documents with me and all the documents are present in the groups, but no one of them is present in "shared to me" and "Shared by me" I don't think this is correct ! thanks
More Depth in Zoho Docs
When can we get more Depth in Zoho Docs..I can only have 4 levels of folders....This app would be more useful if I could get atleast 10 levels...when can we expect this feature?
Email Shared Documents and Spreadsheets
It is vital that we get the ability for shared users to email shared documents and spreadhsheets. Currently this is not possible, and creating multiple documents (it looks to be the only workaround currently) is going to cause us unbelievable compliance, versioning and workflow headaches. As noted before shared folders would be great also. This is very important, and this single issue may become a future deal-killer. We blow it on compliance, our business model fails. Central reposiroty capability - saves money
I just learned that Zoho Projects stores their doc's separately from Doc's. For that matter, so does People, CRM. Is there a way to provide an option to store the documents in zoho doc's? I realize to sell crm separately without zoho business and documents, you need a separate storage capability. But if you do have zoho business and documents, tou should be able to store documents in Zoho documents. Shared file announcements go to Open ID Yahoo mail instead of Zoho mail
I "signed up" with Zoho using the Open ID feature and connected using my Yahoo ID. I would like to use Zoho mail, which is listed as my current default email service, to receive announcements such as when documents have been shared. However, all such announcements are currently going to my Yahoo Mail account. My Yahoo Mail account is not even listed under my mail preferences. Is there no way to receive announcements using a different email service? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I cannot send the document to another zoho ID. i open my document, and share a document. a window tells me to enter a zoho ID. i entered. and i was told that the document sent successfully. But the receiver tells me that he does not get the link of that doc. pls help me to sent my document link to my friend. Only the link to read only.
Share Folders, automatic notification on changes
It would be quite useful for collaboration purposes if I could share a (sub-)Folder to a person or group. When uploading a new document I would not have to explicitly share that document if only I upload it into a folder that is shared already. In addition, what would be very handy is an automatic e-mail notification to all members sharing this folder. Otherwise I would have to mail the group members separately, and that really wouldn't make sense... I am considering switching to ZOHO Docs from MS

It supposed to make it easy to organize and find things. Therefore I strongly suggest you to upgrade the search option. Things that would help search results: Be able to sort by folders, tags, author, date, type or "found in text of a file". I imaging a click and drop like this:
sharing not working
hi sharing doesn't seem to be working. i have a free account and have test shared a text document and an upload PPT file. the test document successfully shared once.....cannot share with more people (i add them...but no sharing email gets sent to them) The ppt document, on adding people to be shared......no email gets sent.... help?
How to view online documents

Confusion about History
Can someone explain to me how saving when collaborating with more than one other individual works in Zoho? We feel like the document is not saving our edits when in "share mode", but maybe we don't understand the process. Some more information: The file will erase the most recently updated information (even after it is saved) once another member logs on to edit.
