Welcome back to the next post in the Co-trainer spotlight series.
In our previous posts, we saw the different ways that a Trainer can aid their co-trainers with pre-session collaboration. In today's post, we will explore the various features that you (the Trainer or Super Admin) can utilize to help co-trainers achieve better audience engagement throughout a live session.
#01: Using open-mic to foster real-time communication
Co-trainers can act as subject matter experts and add significant value to training sessions. As a Trainer, you can encourage co-trainers to use the mic to emphasize relevant points and to quickly clarify participant questions throughout an ongoing session. This helps establish real-time communication between you and your participants and further improves the standard of interaction amongst peers.
#02: Moderating discussions within a common chat room
Since co-presenting improves the ratio of trainer to trainee, it becomes easier to manage team assignments and promote discussions from a common chat room. While you are busy with the content delivery, your co-trainers can take notice of and encourage more reserved participants to contribute to the class discussion, respond to the audience's requests, and control any distracting chats.
Individual attention can be paid to each participant by your co-trainers using the private chat room.
#03: Providing audience's with multiple choice answers
Expose your audience to diverse view points or responses for any question asked during a session. As a co-trainer on ShowTime, you can add multiple answers to a single/same question asked by your participant from different experts during the session. Immediately answering a trainee's question helps drive their motivation and interest in the topic being presented.
We hope these tips help! Be sure to try out these features to provide an enriched learning experience for your participants.
In our upcoming post, we will highlight how a co-trainer can turn into co-presenters and take complete control over the entire session. Please feel free to share your experiences with co-trainer collaboration in the comment box below. If you have any further questions, write to us at support@zohoshowtime.com.
