Enhancements to Stage Transition Rules

Enhancements to Stage Transition Rules

Greetings,

I hope all of you are doing well. We're pleased to announce recent enhancements we've made to Bigin's Stage Transition Rules, each of which we'll go over in more detail.

Checklist support in Stage Transition Rules

Previously in Bigin, you were limited to adding only fields and notes when configuring a Stage Transition Rule. However, with this enhancement, you can now include checklists as well. This means you can create a checklist containing all the essential to-do items necessary to advance a record from its current stage to the next. Users will see this checklist whenever they try to move a record between the stages you've specified in the transition rule.

These checklists are conveniently displayed in the related list of the records, too. You can mark off completed actions and even partially save your progress, allowing for later adjustments or reversals of saved actions.

Moreover, you have the option to move directly to specific stages from this checklist. If any mandatory items are still outstanding, users will see a popup. Once all the prerequisites are met, the "Save" button changes into a "Move to Next Stage" button, streamlining the transition process.

Additionally, in this enhancement, a file option has been included under the Mandate Additional Information section.

Introducing the option to clone custom views

With this feature, users can generate a single custom view and subsequently clone it in order to create additional distinct custom views without having to build them from scratch. This process significantly decreases the time required to set up a collection of comparable views.

Furthermore, we're introducing an additional section labeled "Favorites" within the custom views dropdown menu. This will provide users with convenient access to the views they've marked as their favorites.

That's all for these enhancements. We sincerely hope you find these improvements useful. Please give them a try and provide us with feedback in the comments section below. Watch this space for future announcements.

Thanks and have a good day!
