Exciting Update: Multi WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) Support Now Available in SalesIQ!

We’re pleased to share an important update that will enhance the way you manage your WhatsApp Business accounts (WABAs) within SalesIQ. With the launch of Multi WABA support, you can now connect and manage multiple brands more effectively, each under its own WhatsApp Business Account (WABA). This update is designed to simplify your operations and improve customer interactions across your various businesses.

Now, let's take a look at the key differences between the previously provided Single WABA support and the limitations it posed and how the new Multi-WABA support changes things and makes brand management more effective.

 Key attributes
Single-WABA support
(Before)
Multi-WABA support
(Now)
WABA Connection
Only one WABA could be connected in SalesIQ at a time.
Multiple WABAs can be connected simultaneously without any limitations.
Brand mapping
in SalesIQ
All brands in SalesIQ had to be mapped to the same WABA, making it difficult to manage distinct brand identities.
Each brand can be mapped to its corresponding WABA, allowing for clear and organized brand management.
Example Scenario
For a business running three concerns such as Zylker Travels, Zylker Fashion, and Zylker ECommerce, each as a different WABA in WhatsApp, only one of this let's say Zylker Fashion could be added as a WABA inside SalesIQ. The rest could be added as brands within SalesIQ, but these brands (Travels and Ecommerce) had to be mapped to the Zylker Fashion WABA.
Now, we can add all the three businesses i.e. Zylker Travels, Zylker Fashion, and Zylker ECommerce as separate WABAs within SalesIQ and multiple brands can be mapped under each WABA.
WhatsApp Templates Management
Subsequent to all the brands being mapped under one WABA, all the WhatsApp templates were also under one WABA. This made template management a little disorderly as all the approved templates for all the brands will be listed out for the operators to use, in the operator chat window.
Each WABA can have its own set of templates for the associated SalesIQ brands, streamlining template management for operators.

To understand the differences better, below is a visual representation of the working of Single WABA support which involved connecting all the SalesIQ brands to one WhatsApp Business account (WABA).

And the following illustrates how the current Multi WABA support overcomes the constraints of Single WABA support, allowing for the mapping of each SalesIQ brand to its corresponding WABA, thereby ensuring organized brand management.

Key Features of Multi WABA Support

  • Independent brand management: Each business/SalesIQ brand can now be connected to its unique WABA within SalesIQ, enabling you to manage them as separate entities.
  • Customizable message templates: Now, you can create distinct templates for each business under the corresponding WABA within SalesIQ. This means that for a WhatsApp chat on SalesIQ, only the relevant templates of the connected brand's WABA will be listed for the operators to choose from.
  • Flexible number management: You can connect multiple phone numbers under each WABA, giving you the flexibility to reach a wider audience without compromising on brand identity.
  • Simplified operations: Manage all your brands from a single interface while maintaining their unique identities. This streamlined approach saves you time and reduces complexity in your operations.
