Manage user roles and profiles from the Bigin app (iOS and macOS)

Hello everyone!

We're happy to announce that you can manage user roles and profiles from the Bigin mobile app. The Users & Controls section has three subsections: Users, Profiles, and Roles. 

Users

Employees who belong to your Bigin organization are called users. You can perform the following actions from your mobile app:
  1. Invite/add users to your organization.
  2. View the list of active, inactive, invited, and deleted users. 
  3. Edit user details.
  4. Search for users using their first names, last names, roles, profile types, and email addresses.
  5. Assign roles and profiles to users to define the actions they can perform. 

Notes
Admins and super admins can re-invite or de-activate users from the organization. However, only super admins can delete users from the organization. 

Roles

Roles define your organizational hierarchy. Assigning roles to your employees lets you control data or record visibility across that hierarchy. You can perform the following actions from your mobile app:
  1. Add/edit/delete roles.
  2. View the users assigned to a specific role; tap on a user to view and edit their details. 

Profiles

Profiles define the permissions set for each user as well as the actions they can perform with your Bigin organization. You can perform the following actions from your mobile app:
  1. Add profiles.
  2. Delete non-system defined profiles. 
  3. View the users assigned to a specific profile; tap on a user to view and edit their details.
