Spotlight 13: Keep everyone in the loop

Spotlight 13: Keep everyone in the loop

Events are predictable in their unpredictability. Things will change, plans will go astray, and you'll have to make a lot of last-minute decisions to get your event going without a hitch. At the same time, you also have to pass the news on to your event participants. Your team, your audience, your speakers, and your sponsors—they all have to be on the same page. At times like these, you can post announcements on Backstage.

Post announcements

Be it a change in the presentation room, a last-minute addition to your agenda, or an impromptu exhibition that's just unmissable, you can keep everyone in the loop by sending out announcements from the Conduct dashboard of the Backstage web app. Use markdown to emphasize points or emojis to add a fun factor to your news. You can also edit your announcements to add updates or append the original one.

The best part, though, is that you can do all of this from the Zoho Backstage for Organizers mobile app. Update everyone on the go from the Announcements tab and make sure no one misses a thing.

Follow the conversation thread

Once you've sent out the announcement, all signed-in participants will be able to see it. The announcement will be visible to you and your team on the Backstage web app and the Zoho Backstage for Organizers mobile app. Other event participants will be notified through the event microsite and the Zoho Backstage for Attendees mobile app. They can then add their questions or suggestions as comments to your announcement and get clarification. This way everyone stays up-to-date.

And one more thing—all signed-in participants will also get a push notification on their mobile devices when an announcement is made.

Learn more about announcements (web and mobile) and keep your audience informed en masse.
