Making announcements

When it comes to events, nothing is set in stone. To make an event run smoothly, it's not just important to think on your feet but also as important to communicate those decisions. With the app, you can make announcements and follow the conversation thread right from your mobile device, without being constrained by time or location. 
 
For Android



  1. Tap the Menu icon [].
  2. Select the Announcement option. 
  3. Tap the + icon in the bottom-right corner.
  4. Enter the announcement title and announcement.
  5. Tap Post in the top right corner. 
 For iOS


  1. Tap the Announcement tab. 
  2. Tap the + icon in the top right corner. 
  3. Enter the announcement title and announcement.
  4. Tap Post in the top right corner.

Comment on an announcement

Comment on announcements to follow up on the conversation and reply to queries on the go.
 
For Android


  1. Tap the Menu icon [].
  2. Select the Announcement option. 
  3. Tap the  icon to the right of the announcement you want to comment on.
  4. Enter your comment in the text box at the bottom. 
  5. Tap .
Note: You can also take the short route to comment on an announcement from the Dashboard tab by tapping the  icon to the right of that announcement.

For iOS


  1. Tap the Announcement tab. 
  2. Tap the announcement you want to comment on.
  3. Enter your comment in the text box at the bottom. 
  4. Tap the Done button.
Note: You can also take the short route to comment on an announcement from the Dashboard tab by tapping that announcement. 

Delete an announcement

For Android

  1. Tap the Menu icon [].
  2. Select the Announcement option. 
  3. Tap the  icon to the right of the announcement you want to delete.
  4. Select the Delete option from the drop down menu.
  5. Tap the Delete button in the dialog box.
For iOS



  1. Tap the Announcement tab.
  2. Swipe left on the announcement you wish to delete.
  3. Tap the Delete icon [  ] that appears to the right of the announcement.
  4. Select the Delete button in the dialog box.

Edit an announcement

Revise your announcements, add extra information or correct a typo with the Edit option.
 
For Android


  1. Tap the Menu icon [].
  2. Select the Announcement option. 
  3. Tap the    icon to the right of the announcement you want to edit.
  4. Select the Edit option from the drop down menu.
  5. Make the required changes to the announcement.
  6. Tap the Post button.
