We hope you got a chance to try out the features that went live last month. We were excited about bringing some more interesting and much-awaited product updates in February. We'll also see why February was the most special time of the year for us and where we were this time around!

9 years of Zoho Social

We turned nine this year and we can't hold our joy! This February marked nine years of Zoho Social being in the industry, catering to different audiences and businesses to make everyone's social media journey a lot more interesting and easier. We've evolved as a product in understanding your needs and requirements so we can meet them whether you're an individual creator, SMB, agency, or enterprise. What started off as a publishing and scheduling tool now has so many more holistic features to help you manage your social media efficiently. You're a major part of where we are today, and we'd like to thank you for your trust and support throughout this journey.

SMMW 2024 

We were at the Social Media Marketing World 2024 event that happened in San Diego, CA from February 18-20. We had a booth representing Zoho Social and had a great time interacting with attendees from diverse industries and business. Our experts gave out product demos and insights about the product to users who stopped by. Our interactive corner with influencer Ramon Ray was made all the more interesting by conducting interviews with the popular marketing expert Mari Smith, the social media educator Jera Bean, and others. The event was a great hit; all the conversations and interactions taught us more about your individual businesses and got us thinking about how we can serve you better.



Some product updates that we rolled out are:

Video optimization  

Our video optimization feature has been rolled out for all users on the Premium plan. This feature helps you save time and effort that you'd otherwise spend in editing a video to suit individual channels you want to post on. Now you can just upload the video you want to post to your compose window, and Zoho Social automatically does the job of optimizing it for you so you can experience hassle-free publishing. During optimization, we work on adjusting some properties of the video if and when required, including video format, audio and video codec, audio and video bitrate, audio channel type, size and dimension, and frame rate.


Do more with your Inbox interactions

You can now perform more actions on the interactions you receive in your Inbox, such as archiving or unarchiving a conversation, marking an interaction as spam, and muting a user. You can also automate these actions by adding keywords or modifying your preferences under Settings. In addition, Social identifies the sentiment in an interaction and classifies it as Positive, Neutral, and Negative so you can get an idea of the tone of a customer message before you even read it. Lastly, you can perform bulk actions on the interactions like bulk archive and bulk mark as spam. With these updates, your Inbox just got more comprehensive in handling all your interactions.
