Tip of the week #2: Creating a new event in Zoho Calendar.



The main use of business calendars is to create or add an event to the calendar. Sometimes we create event on the go just by providing the event title and time. Many a times we need to add participants, add conferencing, create a repeating or an all day event, add description, etc.,

You can create a new event by following the steps given below; 
  1. Log in to Zoho Calendar.
  2. Click on the New Event button on the top of the left pane.

  3. Provide the following details to create an event.
    • Event title  and event color,
    • Date and time of the event. You can change the time-zone if the event location varies from your present time-zone.
    • Event attendees,
    • Location,
    • Associate the event with other Zoho Apps,
    • Add conferencing through Zoho Meeting,

    • Calendar in which the event should be created,
    • Any URL which will be clickable by the attendees,
    • Reminder options,
    • Description about the event and
    • Attachments related to the event.

  4. Click  Save
An event will be created and added to the calendar grid on the chosen day. Learn more about creating a new event.
