Tip of the week #23: Subscribe to any calendar on the web using a valid iCal URL.

Zoho Calendar provides you the option to bring in any calendar on the web/ internet into your Zoho Calendar by subscribing to them. You can use the Web URL of the calendar and subscribe to it. The Web URL should be a Valid iCal format HTTP URL.

What's an iCal format HTTP URL?

An iCalendar URL is used to exchange calendaring and scheduling data across the internet. When you subscribe to an online calendar with an iCal URL, the web calendar's events are added to your Zoho Calendar. When the calendar owner updates the events/ schedules in the web calendar, the changes will be reflected in your Zoho Calendar within a certain period (24 hours).

This will help you from having to open a new window or tab to view a sporting event or extravaganza schedule that is being updated on the web calendar. You can add that event/ schedule to Zoho Calendar and view it from your calendar grid, allowing you to schedule your days and not miss your favourite event or match.
