Transferring ownership of specific folders

Is there a way to transfer ownership of specific folders? I want to transfer a folder and all included subfolders only. 

Following this article, transferring folders will transfer everything that person owns. And if you transfer passwords you'd have to go into each folder and transfer all passwords individually or transfer all owned passwords.
