Troubleshooting implementation twists to simplify use


A slight twist on implementation could really make meeting very valuable for troubleshooting and supporting family and friends, customers, etc.

I would love to be able to have a link on my website or that I can simply e-mail to a customer to click. It would take them to a page on my website with instructions, possible video explaining how it will work, and a link to install the agent. Then they would click a "Request Live Support" type button.

I would then have a little agent installed on my computer which could pop up a notification from the taskbar (like the IM programs do when someone comes on line) saying that live Support was requested with a link that would take me to Zoho and connect to the troubleshooting "meeting" session.

From the technical side I imagine When they clicked the button it would request from the server my current status, and if I'm available send notification to my taskbar agent. If I were not available, it would give the person an option to send an e-mail request. I imagine the agent would notify the server maybe every 60 seconds of my status.
