Update! Rate rules have been revamped in Zoho Workerly

Hola!

The Rate Rules feature was introduced in Zoho Workerly last year, and we have been receiving a lot of feedback from our customers saying that they'd love to have these rules available at the job level.

If you have clients working with multiple rates for different jobs, Workerly now has you covered!
Our latest update allows you to specify custom rate rules at the client and job levels.

Here is the list of the updates we've made to Rate Rules in Zoho Workerly:

  • Clients module: The rate rule defined on the Setup page will be mapped to the Billing Rules section on the Create Clients page. These are editable fields, and you can have custom rate rules at the client level.
  • Jobs module: When you create a new job for a particular client, their respective rate rules will be mapped automatically below Billing Rules on the Create Jobs page. These are also editable fields that allow you to have custom rate rules for each job.
  • The Hourly Rate tells you the final client charges after you have declared the billing information for the job.
  • Rate rules cannot be edited for jobs after scheduling temps. In this case, you must unassign the temps to edit the rate rules for that job.
  • You can only enable either Overtime Rates or Special Rates at one time. However, you can switch between them anytime from the Setup, Create Client, or Create Job pages.
  • You can declare overtime and special rates as a percentage or as a flat rate. Additionally, overtime rates can be defined on a per-day or per-week basis.
