Updates for Zoho Campaigns: Merge tag, footer, and autoresponder migration

Updates for Zoho Campaigns: Merge tag, footer, and autoresponder migration

Hello everyone,

We'd like to inform you of some upcoming changes with regard to Zoho Campaigns. We understand that change can be difficult, but we're dedicated to ensuring a smooth transition while keeping you all informed and engaged throughout the process.

1. Merge tag migration

Starting on May 13, 2023, any custom field that you create within your organization will automatically be available as merge tags, which will make it easier for you to select an appropriate tag from the available options instead of creating a new one from scratch each time. For example, when adding the sender's name, you can choose a merge tag from the default available options in the drop-down list.

As a result, Zoho Campaigns will no longer offer the ability to create new merge tags. Nonetheless, any previously created merge tags will remain available for you to use.

2. Footer migration

Adding a footer to your email campaign has become all the more easier. Starting May 10, 2023, you can easily select footer from the template editor without the need to switch tabs.

We'd also like to remind you that the 'Header and Footer' update option in 'Settings' will still be accessible from your account for a limited time. This allows you to view your existing footers and incorporate them in your campaigns as needed. However, editing them will not be possible.

3. Autoresponder migration

Going forward, we've decided to discontinue the autoresponders feature in order to streamline the system. We've made sure that every action/scenario that was achieved with autoresponders can also be accomplished through workflows. Therefore, a migration option will be provided in the near future, allowing you to convert your existing autoresponders to workflows. We'll keep you updated on the specific dates when this option will become available. In the meantime, you will be able to access the autoresponder feature as usual.

We will be providing an automatic migration option for converting your autoresponders into workflows seamlessly, eliminating the need for manual intervention. We assure you that we will keep you informed about the migration process well in advance, ensuring a smooth transition. In the meantime, you can continue to access and utilize the autoresponder feature as usual.

We apologize for any inconvenience these changes may cause. We believe these changes will make it easier for you to navigate through Zoho Campaigns and get your work done more efficiently.

We appreciate your patience and support as we continue to improve Zoho Campaigns for you. If you have any questions or concerns about these updates, please don't hesitate to contact us at support@zohocampaigns.com.

Thank you for being a valued user.
