What's New—December 2021

Dear Backstage users,
 
We have a few more updates for you as we head into the new year.
 
Here are the latest updates for December.
 
  • Virtual expo management, which was previously in Beta, is now live for all users who are in Enterprise and Ultimate plans. To conduct virtual exhibitions, please purchase the Expo OnAir add-on in your Backstage portal settings.
  • Event organizers can now change the background for sessions and networking tables in the virtual space. Exhibitors can also change the background for their virtual booth.
  • You can now set the mode of attending for tickets to Venue onlyOnline only, or Venue and Online when using the Eventbrite ticketing service in Backstage. Previously, this was only available when using Backstage's default ticketing.
  • You can submit your product-related questions or can use live chat to connect with our team directly in Backstage by clicking the  icon in the bottom-left corner.
  • You will now be notified about product-related announcements or community forum posts in Backstage. Announcements can be accessed by clicking the  icon in the top bar next to the User Avatar.
