What's New – February 2020

Hello everyone,

At Backstage, we believe it's the small things that make the big picture, and this month's been about just that. Our existing features have undergone quite a few updates and enhancements, and we hope you can see the difference in how much better and more cohesive the overall Backstage experience is.
So here we go with a quick rundown of all that's happened this last month,

  • Color code the tracks in your agenda by setting custom colors for them. This might be a good way for you to categorize tracks across all events in your portal.
  • We've added Mercado Pago to the long list of payment gateways we support. This gateway will be available in the following four countries: Mexico, Brazil, Chile, and Columbia.
  • You can now add an extra layer of security to credit card transactions by enabling Address Verification Service (AVS) during checkout. To enable this feature, go to Registration Settings in the Tickets tab of an event's Microsite Builder.
  • BadgeUp, our badge designing tool, got a bunch of updates including enhancements to the printer settings and an option to modify the margin of badges.
  • Featured sessions got a new and improved look. This means your highlighted sessions will now truly stand out.
  • Keep an offline record of your event sponsors by exporting it into a spreadsheet. That means easy file-sharing too!
  • In December, we said you could avoid duplication of attendee details during registration by enabling the Restrict duplicate attendees toggle in the Registration settings panel. This time around, we've extended this feature to include imported attendees also.

That's all for February. We'll be back next month with more Backstage news. As always, you can write to us at support@zohobackstage.com with your queries, feedback, and suggestions.

Happy organizing!
